Description
This H-section welded steel column is a precision-fabricated structural component designed for use in prefabricated steel buildings, industrial sheds, and large-scale commercial infrastructure. Made from high-strength structural steel (typically conforming to IS 2062 / ASTM A36 / S275JR standards), these columns are custom-cut, welded, and surface-treated to match specific design loads, building heights, and seismic/wind zone requirements.
Engineered using CNC plasma cutting and submerged arc welding (SAW), each steel column ensures dimensional accuracy, uniform strength distribution, and excellent weld quality. The H-section profile (also referred to as wide flange or universal column) provides high moment resistance and load-bearing capacity with optimized material usage. It seamlessly integrates with steel beams, rafters, and bracings to form the core skeleton of pre-engineered steel structures (PEBs).
The columns are typically shot-blasted to SA 2.5 finish and coated with red oxide primer or zinc-rich epoxy for superior corrosion protection during transport and installation. Optional galvanization or fire-resistant coatings can be added upon request. Suitable for both load-bearing and intermediate column applications, these H-section steel columns are essential in delivering fast, strong, and durable construction for warehouses, factories, logistics parks, aircraft hangars, and multi-storey steel buildings.
