Our lighting management sensors can be used to:Monitor the detection area for occupancy: When a person is sensed the lighting is automatically switched on. In case of sensors equipped with a built-in light level sensor, the lighting will be kept off when enough natural light is available. When the area is vacated the lighting is switched off after a preset time delay.Control lighting (up to 60% savings on lighting energy costs according to EN 15193)Control HVAC circuits and roller blind circuits (either via the sensor or a room controller).

The Legrand Switch Motion Sensor is a versatile wall-mounted PIR (passive infrared) sensor designed to automatically control lighting and optimize energy usage in commercial and residential settings. With a detection range adjustable between 3–10 m and a 180° sensing angle, it seamlessly activates lights upon entry and switches them off after a preset delay—ranging from a few seconds up to 16 minutes—while also allowing daylight-based override via its adjustable lux threshold (3–1000 lux).
